She was born in Santa Monica, California on the 26th of November, 1986. The father of the singer, Vincenzo Barba is the mother of Valerie Barba. Six years ago, she and her family moved to Point Pleasant New Jersey. Red Bank Catholic High School was where she got her formal education at the time in New Jersey. She then attended Catholic University and graduated with an undergraduate degree in architecture. In addition, she was a player on the violin at the age of 4, and was also known by the name of Violin Lady. Due to her talent that she went by the name Violin Girl. She also worked as a violin teacher for the youngsters in the area. At the age of 19 she entered the sixth American Idol season and performed one single Free, 1976.
