
Colson Baker, born April 22 1990, is an American rapper, singer-songwriter actor, songwriter, and actor. He is known for his duality of genres spanning hip hop.Machine Gun Kelly released four mixtapes during 2007 and 2010, before signing with Bad Boy Records. In 2012 He released Lace Up his debut studio album. It reached number four on the US Billboard 200. It included his most popular single "Wild Boy" which was sung by Waka Flame. General Admission (2015) and Bloom (2016) were both commercial hits. The latter featured the hit single "Bad Things" with Camila Cabello, which reached the 4th spot on Billboard's Hot 100. The fourth album, Hotel Diablo, was an rap-rock album. In 2020, Machine Gun Kelly's fifth album, Tickets to My Downfall (2020) came out. It marked a change from hip-hop and a move into pop punk. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, the only rock album to achieve that that year, and contained the hit single "My Ex's Best Friend" and climbed to the 20th spot on the Hot 100. The album was followed by the Mainstream Sellout (2022) and also saw him attain the same commercial success. Since then, he has been seen in the suspense film Nerve (2016) as well as the horror Bird Box (2018) and the comedy Big Time Adolescence, as well as the biopic The Dirt (both 2019).
